About the event

An all-day event to celebrate the wonderful, diverse world we live in and the beauty it holds.  Share Live Music, Food, Art, Crafts, Dancing, and Activities from around the world.

11:30 Maya Krah and students will be performing different dances from around the world.

1:00 Mark Wells will be doing a solo set of Celtic music and Americana, both originals and all time favorites

3:00. Michael Meade will share two great stories being told at the same time intertwined. One is the story of worldwide crisis threatening both nature and human culture; the other is the unique story trying to unfold from each soul on earth. Something essential to the story of life on earth is trying to be discovered, and something crucial in each life story is trying to be revealed. Changing the soul helps change the world.

5;30pm Global Roots musicians Christian Sun con Freestyle Candela will be playing at 5:30 pm., with Juno award-winning artist Naby Camara on balafon from Guinea, West Africa. World guitarist Leif Totusek of Freestyle Candela bringing melodies from the Congo, Haiti, and beyond, and Christian Sun warming it up with southern sultry folk vibe all together with hot rhythms and a message of Celebration & Unity.

But wait, there is more!! We will be doing crafts together during the day.  Chris Ramsell a long-time artist and island resident, will be doing pumpkin carving demos, teaching us how to make our own amazing carved pumpkins this year.

BEING HUMAN PRAYER FLAGS. Join tapestry artist Suzanne Hubbard in creating prayer flags that show what being human means to you. Suzanne Hubbard has been weaving tapestries for over 45 years. She sees the potential for the craft to teach community building and foster a sense of well-being by learning from its integrative process. There are some things that words cannot express but can be experienced when weaving separate strands of your life into a whole fabric, for example. Many more revelations can emerge from a tactile experience of oneness.

And food!! The food booth, Taco Mas Tacos will be serving fresh, hot tacos all day!

We will have importers that support indigenous folks from around the world.  Including imports from Vanuatu arriving with one of our own Dig Deepers arriving back Wed this week from the county.  Don't know where that is, well come and learn!  Come join us as we create a community of Goodwill and dance with us.

Sunday will be more mellow, and hoping to have some music (TBC) to lead us back to the week.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
